Fantail Psychology

Kia ora, ko Veerle ahau, my name is Veerle.

Educational Psychologist, therapist, healer.

Fantail Psychology is situated at the edge of a native ngāhere (forest) reserve, looking out into the treetops, amongst the Tūī, Kererū, and the beloved Pīwakawaka (Fantail). In this idyllic location in Lower Hutt, I offer individual and family-based therapeutic treatment to help support your mental wellbeing. I strive towards healing for all whānau, inclusive, neuro-affirming and queer-affirming. I am a registered provider under the ACC Sensitive Claims Service and Behaviour Support Service, as well as being available for private work.

I currently have limited availability to take on new clients and I welcome new inquiries, though there may be a wait time. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs and my availability. Private fees are usually $200 incl. GST per 50-minute session, with options for reduced fees for multi-bookings. Some sliding scale bookings are available for students or people with lower income. I offer a free, 20-minute introduction call to help you decide if I am the right person to support you on your healing journey.
